أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ قَالَ: بَلَغَنِي
أَنَّ رَجُلًا سَأَلَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ عَنْ ذَبِيحَةِ الْيَهُودِيِّ وَالنَّصْرَانِيِّ، فَتَلَا عَلَيْهِ: ﴿أُحِلَّ لَكُمُ الطَّيِّبَاتُ وَطَعَامُ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ حِلٌّ لَكُمْ ﴾وَتَلَا عَلَيْهِ: ﴿وَلا تَأْكُلُوا مِمَّا لَمْ يُذْكَرِ اسْمُ اللهِ عَلَيْهِ ﴾وَتَلَا عَلَيْهِ: ﴿وَمَا أُهِلَّ لِغَيْرِ اللهِ بِهِ ﴾قَالَ: فَجَعَلَ الرَّجُلُ يُكَرِّرُ عَلَيْهِ، فَقَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ: " لَعَنَ اللهُ الْيَهُودَ وَالنَّصَارَى وَكَفَرَةَ الْأَعْرَابِ، فَإِنَّ هَذَا وَأَصْحَابَهُ يَسْأَلُونِي، فَإِذَا لَمْ يُوَافِقْهُمْ أَتَوْا يُخَاصِمُونِي
Translation
✧ A man asked Ibn ʿUmar about the sacrifice of a Jew or a Christian. He recited to him: “Lawful for you are the good things, and the food of those who were given the Scripture is lawful for you,” and he recited: “And do not eat of that over which the name of Allah has not been mentioned,” and he recited: “And that which is dedicated to other than Allah.” He said: The man repeated the question to him, so Ibn ʿUmar said: “May Allah curse the Jews, the Christians, and the disbelieving Bedouins, for this man and his companions ask me, and when I do not agree with them they come and argue with me.”
