أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ عُتَيْبَةَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ النَّخَعِيَّ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ حُدَيْرٍ وَكَانَ زِيَادٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ حَيًّا
أَنَّ عُمَرَ بَعَثَهُ مُصَدِّقًا، فَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَأْخُذَ مِنْ نَصَارَى بَنِي تَغْلِبَ الْعُشْرَ، وَمِنْ نَصَارَى الْعَرَبِ نِصْفَ الْعُشْرِ
Translation
✧ Umar sent him as a collector, and he ordered him to take a tenth from the Christians of Banu Taghlib, and from the Christians of the Arabs a half-tenth.
