أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ:
صَالَحَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَبَدَةَ الْأَوْثَانِ عَلَى الْجِزْيَةِ إِلَّا مَنْ كَانَ مِنْهُمْ مِنَ الْعَرَبِ، وَقَبِلَ الْجِزْيَةَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْبَحْرَيْنِ وَكَانُوا مَجُوسًا
Translation

machine translationʿAbd al-Razzāq informed us, he said: Maʿmar informed us, from al-Zuhrī, who said:
✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ made peace with idol worshippers on the jizya, except those among them who were Arabs, and he accepted the jizya from the people of al-Bahrayn, who were Magians.
