أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ عَبِيدَةَ السَّلْمَانِيِّ
أَنَّ عَلِيًّا كَانَ يَكْرَهُ ذَبَائِحَ نَصَارَى بَنِي تَغْلِبَ، وَيَقُولُ: " إِنَّهُمْ لَا يَتَمَسَّكُونَ مِنَ النَّصْرَانِيَّةِ إِلَّا بِشُرْبِ الْخَمْرِ
Translation
✧ ʿAlī used to dislike the slaughtered animals of the Christians of Banū Taghlib, and he said: "They do not hold to Christianity except by drinking wine."
