أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي خَلَّادٌ أَنَّ عَمْرَو بْنَ شُعَيْبٍ أَخْبَرَهُ
أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ " كَانَ لَا يَدَعُ يَهُودِيًّا وَلَا نَصْرَانِيًّا يُنَصِّرُ وَلَدَهُ، وَلَا يُهَوِّدُهُ فِي مُلْكِ الْعَرَبِ
Translation
✧ Umar b. al-Khattab would not allow a Jew or Christian to Christianize or Judaize his child in the ownership of the Arabs.
