✧ Does a Muslim enslave?

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ،
وَسُئِلَ عَنْ تُجَّارِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ يَدْخُلُونَ بِلَادَ الْعَجَمِ، فَيَسْتَرِقُّ بَعْضُهُمْ بَعْضًا، هَلْ يَصْلُحُ لَهُ أَنْ يَشْتَرِيَهُمْ وَهُوَ يَعْلَمُ ؟ قَالَ: " نَعَمْ
Translation
✧ He was asked about Muslim merchants who enter the lands of the non-Arabs and some of them enslave others: is it permissible for him to buy them while he knows? He said: Yes.
