machine translationAbū ʿĪsā said: On this topic there are narrations from ʿAbdullāh b. Masʿūd, Abū al-Dardāʾ, Ibn ʿAbbās, Muʿādh b. Anas and Jābir. Abū ʿĪsā said: The hadith of Abū Hurayrah is a good and sound (ḥasan ṣaḥīḥ) hadith. It has been narrated from more than one of the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ that they said: "Whoever hears the call to prayer and does not answer it, has no prayer." Some of the people of knowledge said: This is by way of severity and sternness, and there is no concession for anyone to leave the congregation except for an excuse.
