machine translationHe said: On this topic there are narrations from Anas, Abū Arwā, Jābir and Rāfiʿ b. Khadīj. He said: It is also narrated from Rāfiʿ, from the Prophet ﷺ, about delaying the ʿAṣr prayer, but it is not authentic. Abū ʿĪsā said: The hadith of ʿĀʾishah is a good and authentic (ḥasan ṣaḥīḥ) hadith. It is what some of the people of knowledge among the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ chose, among them ʿUmar, ʿAbdullāh b. Masʿūd, ʿĀʾishah and Anas, and more than one of the Followers: hastening the ʿAṣr prayer, and they disliked delaying it. This is also the view of ʿAbdullāh b. al-Mubārak, al-Shāfiʿī, Aḥmad and Isḥāq.
