حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ:

" إِنَّ بِمَكَّةَ لَحَجَرًا كَانَ يُسَلِّمُ عَلَيَّ لَيَالِيَ بُعِثْتُ، إِنِّي لَأَعْرِفُهُ إِذَا مَرَرْتُ عَلَيْهِ

    رواه أحمد بن عبد الخالق الضبعي عن أبي داود عن شعبة عن سماك ورواه بندار عن أبي داود عن سليمان بن معاذ الضبي عن سماك وهو أشبه بالصواب

    machine translationAḥmad b. ʿAbd al-Khāliq al-Ḍubaʿī narrated it from Abū Dāwūd, from Shuʿbah, from Simāk. And Bundār narrated it from Abū Dāwūd, from Sulaymān b. Muʿādh al-Ḍabbī, from Simāk, and this is closer to the correct version.
