حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا رَمْلَةَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
" أَوْجَبَ ذُو الثَّلَاثِ، قَالَ مُعَاذٌ: فَقُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، وَذُو الِاثْنَيْنِ ؟ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: " وَذُو الِاثْنَيْنِ "، قَالَ: يَعْنِي مَنْ قَدَّمَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ ثَلَاثَةً مِنْ وَلَدِهِ

✧ The one with three has made it obligatory. Mu'adh said: I said: O Messenger of God, and the one with two? The Messenger of God ﷺ said: And the one with two. He said: meaning the one who has sent ahead three of his children.
