حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بُرْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

" ثَلَاثَةٌ يُؤْتَوْنَ أَجْرَهُمْ مَرَّتَيْنِ: رَجُلٌ كَانَتْ لَهُ أَمَةٌ فَأَدَّبَهَا فَأَحْسَنَ أَدَبَهَا، وَعَلَّمَهَا فَأَحْسَنَ تَعْلِيمَهَا، ثُمَّ أَعْتَقَهَا فَتَزَوَّجَهَا، وَرَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ آمَنَ بِنَبِيِّهِ، ثُمَّ أَدْرَكَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَآمَنَ بِهِ، وَعَبْدٌ أَدَّى حَقَّ اللهِ وَحَقَّ مَوَالِيهِ

Translation

✧ Three people will be given their reward twice: a man who had a slave woman and disciplined her with good discipline, taught her with good teaching, then freed her and married her; a man from the People of the Book who believed in his prophet and then lived to see the Prophet ﷺ and believed in him; and a slave who fulfills the rights of Allah and the rights of his masters.
