حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا صَالِحٍ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ، قَالَ:

سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ قَوْلِهِ: الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَكَانُوا يَتَّقُونَ لَهُمُ الْبُشْرَى فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: هِيَ الرُّؤْيَا الصَّالِحَةُ يَرَاهَا الْمُسْلِمُ أَوْ تُرَى لَهُ

✧ I asked the Messenger of God ﷺ about His saying: “Those who believe and were mindful—for them is good news in the life of this world.” The Messenger of God ﷺ said: “It is the righteous dream that the Muslim sees or is seen for him.”
