حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ مِينَاءَ، عَنِ ابْنِ جَارِيَةَ، قَالَ:
كُنَّا عَلَى بَابِ مُعَاوِيَةَ، فَخَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا فَقَالَ: فِيمَ كُنْتُمْ ؟ قُلْنَا: كُنَّا فِي الْأَنْصَارِ وَأَحَادِيثِهِمْ. فَقَالَ مُعَاوِيَةُ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: مَنْ أَحَبَّ الْأَنْصَارَ أَحَبَّهُ اللهُ، وَمَنْ أَبْغَضَ الْأَنْصَارَ أَبْغَضَهُ اللهُ

✧ We were at Mu'awiyah's door, and he came out to us and said: 'What were you discussing?' We said: 'We were discussing the Ansar and their hadiths.' Mu'awiyah said: 'I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ say: Whoever loves the Ansar, God loves him, and whoever hates the Ansar, God hates him.'
