✧ We raided with Abu Bakr ؓ against Hawazin, and I beat the people to the mountain, so I drove back a group of people and captured a woman from Fazarah who had a daughter among the most beautiful of the Arabs. Abu Bakr gave me the daughter of the Fazari woman as a prize. When we arrived, the Messenger of God ﷺ said to me: "O Salamah, give me the woman, may your father be ransomed for God." I said: "O Messenger of God, I have not uncovered her!" He said: "Give her to me, may your father be ransomed for God." I said: "She is yours, O Messenger of God." He said: Then he sent her to the people of Makkah and ransomed with her a captive who was in their hands.
