حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ ثنا أَبِي ح وَحَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثنا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَا ثنا سُفْيَانُ ثنا سَالِمٌ أَبُو النَّضْرِ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي رَافِعٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا أُلْفِيَنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ مُتَّكِئًا عَلَى أَرِيكَتِهِ يَأْتِيهِ الْأَمْرُ مِمَّا أَمَرْتُ بِهِ أَوْ نَهَيْتُ عَنْهُ فَيَقُولُ لَا نَدْرِي مَا وَجَدْنَا فِي كِتَابِ اللهِ اتَّبَعْنَاهُ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “I should not find any one of you reclining on his couch and when an instruction comes to him from what I have commanded or forbidden, he says, ‘We do not know; whatever we find in the Book of Allah we follow.’”
