حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ نَائِلَةَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَمْرِو الْبَجَلِيُّ ثنا مِسْعَرُ بْنُ كِدَامٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ عَنِ النَّزَّالِ بْنِ سَبْرَةَ قَالَ
لَمَّا اسْتُخْلِفَ عُثْمَانُ ؓ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ «أَمَّرْنَا خَيْرَ مَنْ بَقِيَ وَلَمْ نَأْلُ»
