حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ الْأَزْدِيُّ ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ثنا زَائِدَةُ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ حَيَّانَ عَنْ عَنْبَسِ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ قَالَ قَالَ

عَبْدُ اللهِ «وَاللهِ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ غَيْرُهُ مَا عَلَى ظَهْرِ الْأَرْضِ شَيْءٌ أَحْوَجُ إِلَى طُولِ سِجْنٍ مِنْ لِسَانٍ»

✧ Abdullah said: By Allah, besides whom there is no god, there is nothing on the back of the earth more in need of lengthy imprisonment than a tongue.
