حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ثنا حَمْزَةُ الزَّيَّاتُ عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ مُصَرِّفٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ قَالَ

سَجَدْتُ مَعَ عُمَرَ وَمَعَ عَبْدِ اللهِ فِي إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْشَقَّتْ قَالَ الْأَسْوَدُ «أَمَّا أَحَدُهُمَا فَلَا أَشُكُّ فِيهِ»

✧ I prostrated with ʿUmar and with ʿAbd Allah in “When the sky is split open.” Al-Aswad said, “As for one of them, I have no doubt about it.”
