حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثنا خَلَّادُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ثنا فِطْرُ بْنُ خَلِيفَةَ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ

«مَنْ قَرَأَ فِي لَيْلَةٍ بِخَمْسِ آيَاتٍ لَمْ يَكْتُبْ فِي لَيْلَتِهِ أَبَدًا مِنَ الْغَافِلِينَ وَمَنْ قَرَأَ مِائَةَ آيَةٍ كُتِبَ مِنَ الْقَانِتِينَ وَمَنْ قَرَأَ ثَلَاثَ مِائَةٍ كُتِبَ لَهُ قِنْطَارٌ وَمَنْ قَرَأَ سَبْعَ مِائَةٍ أَفْلَحَ»

✧ “Whoever recites five verses in a night will never be recorded that night among the heedless; whoever recites one hundred verses will be recorded among the devout; whoever recites three hundred will have a qintar recorded for him; and whoever recites seven hundred will succeed.”
