حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ قَالَ قَالَ ابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ «§هَذَا الْقُرْآنُ مَأْدُبَةُ اللهِ فَمَنِ اسْتَطَاعَ مِنْكُمْ
أَنْ يَتَعَلَّمَ مِنْهُ شَيْئًا فَلْيَفْعَلْ فَإِنَّ أَصْغَرَ الْبُيُوتِ مِنَ الْخَيْرِ الَّذِي لَيْسَ فِيهِ مِنْ كِتَابِ اللهِ شَيْءٌ وَإِنَّ الْبَيْتَ الَّذِي لَيْسَ فِيهِ مِنْ كِتَابِ اللهِ شَيْءٌ كَخَرَابِ الْبَيْتِ الَّذِي لَا عَامِرَ لَهُ وَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَخْرُجُ مِنَ الْبَيْتِ يَسْمَعُ فِيهِ سُورَةَ الْبَقَرَةِ»

✧ That he should learn something from it, let him do so, for the smallest of houses in good is the one in which there is nothing of the Book of Allah. Indeed the house in which there is nothing of the Book of Allah is like the ruin of a house that has no one to inhabit it, and indeed Satan leaves the house in which Surah al-Baqarah is heard.
