حَدَّثَنَا الْهَيْثَمُ بْنُ خَلَفٍ الدُّورِيُّ ثنا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلِ بْنِ غَزْوَانَ عَنْ بَيَانٍ أَبِي بِشْرٍ عَنْ عَامِرٍ وَذَكَرَ قَيْسًا قَالَ كَانَ ابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ يُحَدِّثُ الشَّهْرَ لَا يَقُولُ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَإِذَا قَالَ «سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ» قَالَ «هَذَا أَوْ نَحْوًا مِنْ هَذَا أَوْ قَرِيبًا مِنْ هَذَا» وَإِنَّهُ يُرْعَدُ

✧ I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ; and when he said, “I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ,” he said, “This or something like this, or close to this,” and indeed he was trembling.
