حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الصَّوَّافُ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ غَيْلَانَ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ بَزِيعٍ عَنْ رَوْحِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْهَجَرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ «§مَنْ سَرَّهُ
أَنْ يَلْقَى اللهَ غَدًا مُسْلِمًا فَلْيُحَافِظْ عَلَى هَذِهِ الصَّلَوَاتِ حَيْثُ يُنَادَى بِهِنَّ فِي الْجَمِيعِ فَإِنَّهُنَّ مِنْ سُنَنِ الْهُدَى وَإِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ قَدْ فَرَضَ لِنَبِيِّكُمْ ﷺ سُنَنَ الْهُدَى وَإِنَّكُمْ لَوْ كُنْتُمْ تُصَلُّونَ فِي بُيُوتِكُمِ كَمَا يُصَلِّي هَذَا الْمُتَخَلِّفُ فِي بَيْتِهِ لَتَرَكْتُمْ سُنَّةَ نَبِيِّكُمْ ﷺ وَلَوْ تَرَكْتُمْ سُنَّةَ نَبِيِّكُمْ ﷺ لَضَلَلْتُمْ وَلَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ رَجُلًا يُهَادَى بَيْنَ الرَّجُلَيْنِ حَتَّى يُجَاءَ بِهِ فَيُقَامَ فِي الصَّفِّ وَلَقَدْ أَتَى عَلَيْنَا زَمَانٌ وَمَا يَتَخَلَّفُ عَنْهَا إِلَّا مُنَافِقٌ مَعْلُومٌ نِفَاقُهُ وَإِنْ كُنَّا لَنُقَارِبُ بَيْنَ الْخُطَا»

✧ Whoever would like to meet Allah tomorrow as a Muslim, let him guard these prayers where the call is given for them in congregation, for they are among the ways of guidance. Indeed Allah ﷻ has obligated for your Prophet ﷺ the ways of guidance. If you prayed in your houses as this one who stays behind prays in his house, you would abandon the Sunnah of your Prophet ﷺ. If you abandoned the Sunnah of your Prophet ﷺ, you would go astray. I have seen a man being supported between two men until he is brought and stood in the row. A time came upon us when none would stay behind from them except a hypocrite whose hypocrisy was known. Indeed we used to take short steps between them.
