حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَوْهَبٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُوسَى بْنَ طَلْحَةَ يَذْكُرُ أَنَّ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ أَبِي الْعَاصِ

أَخْبَرَهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «يَا عُثْمَانُ أُمَّ قَوْمَكَ مَنْ أَمَّ قَوْمًا فَلْيُخَفِّفْ فَإِنَّ فِيهِمُ الضَّعِيفَ وَإِنَّ فِيهِمُ الْمَرِيضَ وَإِنَّ فِيهِمْ ذَا الْحَاجَةِ»

Translation

✧ He informed him that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “O ʿUthmān, lead your people. Whoever leads people should lighten, for among them are the weak, the sick, and the one with a need.”
