حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ الدِّمْيَاطِيُّ ثنا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ يَحْيَى التُّجِيبِيُّ عَنِ ابْنِ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ عَنْ لَهِيعَةَ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُمَرَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ الْأَنْصَارِيَّ قَالَ
إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ آمُرُكُمْ بِثَلَاثٍ وَأَنْهَاكُمْ عَنْ ثَلَاثٍ آمُرُكُمْ أَنْ لَا تُشْرِكُوا بِاللهِ شَيْئًا وَأَنْ تَعْتَصِمُوا بِالطَّاعَةِ جَمِيعًا حَتَّى يَأْتِيَكُمْ أَمْرُ اللهِ وَأَنْتُمْ عَلَى ذَلِكَ وَأَنْ تُنَاصِحُوا وُلَاةَ الْأَمْرِ مِنَ الَّذِينَ يَأْمُرُونَكُمْ بِأَمْرِ اللهِ وَأَنْهَى عَنْ قِيلَ وَقَالَ وَكَثْرَةِ السُّؤَالِ وَإِضَاعَةِ الْمَالِ

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said: “I command you with three and forbid you from three. I command you not to associate anything with God, to hold firmly to obedience all together until God's command comes to you while you are upon that, and to give sincere counsel to the rulers from those who command you with God's command. I forbid you from ‘he said, she said,’ excessive questioning, and squandering wealth.”
