حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ رِحَالٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي فُدَيْكٍ حَدَّثَنِي نَافِعُ بْنُ أَبِي نُعَيْمٍ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

قَدِمَ الطُّفَيْلُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الدَّوْسِيُّ وَأَصْحَابُهُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّ دَوْسًا قَدْ عَصَتْ وَأَبَتْ فَادْعُ اللهَ عَلَيْهَا فَقِيلَ هَلَكَتْ دَوْسٌ فَقَالَ «اللهُمَّ اهْدِ دَوْسًا وَائْتِ بِهِمْ»

✧ Ṭufayl b. ʿAmr al-Dawsī and his companions came to the Messenger of God ﷺ, and he said, "O Messenger of God, Daws has disobeyed and refused, so pray to God against them." It was said, "Daws is ruined." He said, "O God, guide Daws and bring them."
