حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ الْعَسْكَرِيُّ وَجَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْفِرْيَابِيُّ قَالَا ثنا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ مِسْرَحٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ عَطَا الْقُرَشِيُّ الْحَرَّانِيُّ عَنْ مَسْلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْجُهَنِيِّ عَنْ عَمِّهِ أَبِي مَشْجَعَةَ بْنِ رِبْعِيٍّ الْجُهَنِيِّ عَنِ ابْنِ زِمْلٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ قَالَ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا صَلَّى الصُّبْحَ قَالَ وَهُوَ ثَانٍ رِجْلَهُ سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ وَأَسْتَغْفِرُ اللهَ إِنَّهُ كَانَ تَوَّابًا سَبْعِينَ مَرَّةً

✧ When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed the dawn prayer, he would say, while folding his leg: "Glory be to Allah and with His praise; I seek Allah's forgiveness. Indeed He is ever accepting of repentance" seventy times.
