حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى السَّاجِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ بُنْدَارٌ ثنا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَاحِدِ حَدَّثَتْنِي أُمُّ جَنُوبٍ بِنْتُ شُمَيْلَةَ عَنْ أُمِّهَا سُوَيْدَةَ بِنْتِ جَابِرٍ عَنْ أُمِّهَا عُقَيْلَةَ بِنْتِ أَسْمَرَ بْنِ مُضَرِّسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهَا أَسْمَرَ بْنِ مُضَرِّسٍ قَالَ

أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَبَايَعْتُهُ فَقَالَ «مَنْ سَبَقَ إِلَى مَا لَمْ يَسْبِقْ إِلَيْهِ مُسْلِمٌ فَهُوَ لَهُ» فَخَرَجَ النَّاسُ يَتَعَادُّونَ يَتَخَاطُّونَ

✧ I came to the Prophet ﷺ and gave him the oath of allegiance, and he said, “Whoever gets to something that no Muslim has gotten to before, it is his.” So the people went out racing and drawing lines.
