حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ أَبِي الطَّاهِرِ بْنِ السَّرْحِ الْمِصْرِيُّ وَيَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ الْعَلَّافُ قَالَا ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنِ الْمُنِيبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ بْنِ ثَعْلَبَةَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي قَالَ

انْصَرَفْتُ مِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ فَإِذَا بِرَجُلٍ عَلَيْهِ ثِيَابٌ بِيضٌ وَقَمِيصٌ وَرِدَاءٌ فَقَالَ لِي أَخْبَرَنِي جَدُّكَ أَبُو أُمَامَةَ بْنُ ثَعْلَبَةَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ الْبَذَاذَةَ مِنَ الْإِيمَانِ إِنَّ الْبَذَاذَةَ مِنَ الْإِيمَانِ إِنَّ الْبَذَاذَةَ مِنَ الْإِيمَانِ»

✧ I left the mosque and suddenly there was a man wearing white clothes, a shirt and a cloak. He said to me: "Your grandfather Abū Umāmah b. Tha'labah informed me from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that he said: 'Humbleness in dress is part of faith, humbleness in dress is part of faith, humbleness in dress is part of faith.'"
