حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْأَسْفَاطِيُّ ثنا ابْنُ عَائِشَةَ ثنا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ لَيْثٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ زَحْرٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ مِنْ أَغْبَطِ أَوْلِيَائِي عِنْدِي مُؤْمِنٌ خَفِيفُ الْحَاذِ ذُو حَظٍّ مِنْ صَلَاةٍ وَصِيَامٍ وَأَحْسَنَ عِبَادَةَ رَبِّهِ وَأَطَاعَهُ فِي السِّرِّ وَكَانَ غَامِضًا فِي النَّاسِ لَا يُشَارُ إِلَيْهِ بِالْأَصَابِعِ وَكَانَتْ مَعِيشَتُهُ كَفَافًا وَصَبَرَ عَلَى ذَلِكَ فَعَجَلَتْ مَنِيَّتُهُ وَقَلَّ بَوَاكِيهِ وَقَلَّ تُرَاثُهُ»

✧ On the authority of the Messenger of God ﷺ, he said, “Indeed, among the most enviable of my friends in my sight is a believer of light means, who has a share of prayer and fasting, who worships his Lord well and obeys Him in secret, who is obscure among people, not pointed to with fingers, whose livelihood is barely sufficient, and who is patient with that. His death comes quickly, his mourners are few, and his inheritance is small.”
