حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ رِشْدِينَ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ أنا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ زَحْرٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ ؓ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «بُعِثْتُ رَحْمَةً وَهَدًى لِلْعَالَمِينَ لِمَحْقِ الْأَوْثَانِ وَالْمَعَازِفِ وَالْمَزَامِيرِ وَأَمْرِ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ»

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said: “I was sent as a mercy and guidance for the worlds, to obliterate idols, musical instruments, reed pipes, and the affairs of the Age of Ignorance.”
