حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ سُفْيَانَ الرَّقِّيُّ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ الرَّقِّيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْقُرْقُسَانِيُّ عَبْدُونَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الْأَوْدِيِّ

عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ ووَاثِلَةَ بْنِ الْأَسْقَعِ وأَبِي أُمَامَةَ وأَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالُوا كُنَّا فِي مَجْلِسٍ فِيهِ نَاسٌ مِنَ الْيَهُودِ وَنَحْنُ نَتَذَاكَرُ الْقَدَرَ فَخَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ مُغْضَبًا فَعَبَسَ وَقَطَبَ وَانْتَهَرَ ثُمَّ قَالَ «مَهْ مَهِ اتَّقُوا اللهَ يَا أُمَّةَ مُحَمَّدٍ وَادِيَانِ عَمِيقَانِ قَعْرَانِ مُظْلِمَانِ لَا تَهْتَجُوا عَلَيْكُمْ وَهَجَ النَّارِ» ثُمَّ أَمَرَ الْيَهُودَ أَنْ يَقُومُوا ثُمَّ قَالَ وَبَسَطَ يَمِينَهُ وَبَسَطَ إِصْبَعَهُ الشِّمَالَ

✧ From Abu al-Darda', Wathilah b. al-Asqa', Abu Umamah, and Anas b. Malik, they said: We were in a gathering with some people from the Jews, and we were discussing divine decree, when the Prophet ﷺ came out to us angry. He frowned, scowled, and rebuked us, then said: "Enough, enough! Fear Allah, O community of Muhammad! There are two deep valleys, dark and bottomless. Do not stir up against yourselves the blaze of the Fire." Then he ordered the Jews to stand up. Then he spoke, spreading his right hand and spreading his left finger.
