حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثنا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمُقْرِئُ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ زِيَادِ بْنِ أَنْعُمٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الْغَازِي الْعَنْسِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ الْبَاهِلِيِّ

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّ مِنْ خِيَارِ النَّاسِ الْأَمْلُوكَ أَمْلُوكَ حِمْيَرَ وَسُفْيَانَ وَالسَّكُونِ وَالْأَشْعَرِيِّينَ»

✧ That he heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "Among the best of people are the kings, the kings of Himyar, Sufyan, al-Sakun, and al-Ash'ariyyin."
