حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ مَنْدَهِ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عُمَرَ رُسْتَهْ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي عُتْبَةَ الْكِنْدِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ الْبَاهِلِيِّ قَالَ
قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَتَعْرِفُ أُمَّتَكَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ؟ قَالَ «نَعَمْ» قُلْتُ مَنْ رَأَيْتَ وَمَنْ لَمْ تَرَ؟ قَالَ «مَنْ رَأَيْتَ؟ وَمَنْ لَمْ أَرَ؟» قُلْتُ بِمَاذَا؟ قَالَ «غُرٌّ مُحَجَّلُونَ مِنْ آثَارِ الْوُضُوءِ»

✧ I said: O Messenger of Allah, do you recognize your nation on the Day of Resurrection? He said: "Yes." I said: Those you have seen and those you have not seen? He said: "Those I have seen? And those I have not seen?" I said: By what means? He said: "They will be radiant, with white marks on their faces and limbs from the traces of ablution."
