حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو يَزِيدَ الْقَرَاطِيسِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَكَمِ أَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ الصَّعْبِ بْنِ جَثَّامَةَ

أَنَّهُ قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّا نَغْشَى الدَّيْرَ لَيْلًا مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ مَعَهُمْ نِسَاؤُهُمْ وَصِبْيَانُهُمْ فَنَقْتُلُهُمْ قَالَ «هُمْ مِنْهُمْ»

✧ That he said, “O Messenger of Allah, we raid a settlement at night from the polytheists, and with them are their women and children, and we kill them.” He said, “They are from them.”
