حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ح وحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا وهْبُ بْنُ بَقِيَّةَ أَنَا خَالِدٌ كِلَاهُمَا عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ صُحَارٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى يُخْسَفَ بِقَبَائِلَ حَتَّى يُقَالَ مَنْ بَقِيَ مِنْ بَنِي فُلَانٍ» فَعَرَفْتُ أَنَّهُ يَعْنِي الْعَرَبَ لِأَنَّ الْعَجَمَ لَيْسَتْ لَهَا قَبَائِلُ

✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: “The Hour will not come until entire tribes are swallowed up, until it is said, ‘Who remains of the Banu So-and-so?’” I knew that he meant the Arabs, because the non-Arabs do not have tribes.
