حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عُمَرَ الْمَكِّيِّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَطَاءَ بْنَ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ قَالَ

جَاءَ الشَّرِيدُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ يَوْمَ الْفَتْحِ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنِّي نَذَرْتُ إِنِ اللهُ فَتَحَ عَلَيْكَ مَكَّةَ أَنْ أُصَلِّيَ فِي بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «هَهُنَا فَصَلِّ» ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ

Translation

Chain of narrators

  3. Ibrāhīm b. ʿUmar al-Makkī
  4. ʿAṭāʾ b. Abū Rabāḥ

✧ Al-Sharid came to the Prophet ﷺ on the day of the conquest and said, 'O Messenger of Allah, I vowed that if Allah granted you victory over Makkah, I would pray in Jerusalem.' The Prophet ﷺ said, 'Pray here,' three times.
