حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الْمَكِّيُّ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ السُّامِيُّ وَقَيْسُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ الدَّارِمِيُّ قَالَا ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ ثنا عَاصِمٌ الْأَحْوَلُ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَشْعَثِ الصَّنْعَانِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي أَسْمَاءَ الرَّحْبِيِّ عَنْ شَدَّادِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ قَالَ

كُنْتُ أَمْشِي مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ آخِذٌ بِيَدِي صَبِيحَةَ ثَمَانِ عَشْرَةَ فَحَانَتْ مِنْهُ الْتِفَاتَةٌ فَرَأَى رَجُلًا يَحْتَجِمُ فَقَالَ «أَفْطَرَ الْحَاجِمُ وَالْمَحْجُومُ»

✧ I was walking with the Messenger of God ﷺ while he was holding my hand on the morning of the eighteenth, and he happened to turn and saw a man being cupped, so he said: “The cupper and the cupped have broken their fast.”
