✧ Abu al-Ash'ath al-San'ani narrates from Shaddad

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَشْعَثِ الصَّنْعَانِيِّ عَنْ شَدَّادِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَتَى عَلَى رَجُلٍ وَهُوَ يَحْتَجِمُ بِالْبَقِيعِ فِي ثَمَانِ عَشْرَةَ خَلَتْ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ فَقَالَ «أَفْطَرَ الْحَاجِمُ وَالْمَحْجُومُ»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ came upon a man while he was being cupped at al-Baqi‘ on the eighteenth day of Ramadan, and he said: “The cupper and the cupped have broken their fast.”
