حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ الْمِنْهَالِ وَعَارِمٌ أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْمِقْدَامُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ ثنا أَسَدُ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَا ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الْعُشَرَاءِ الدَّارِمِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ
قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَمَا يَكُونُ الذَّكَاةُ إِلَّا مِنَ الْحَلْقِ أَوِ اللَّبَّةِ؟ قَالَ «لَوْ طَعَنْتَ فِي فَخِذِهَا لَأَجْزَأَتْ عَنْكَ»

✧ I said: "O Messenger of Allah, is slaughtering only in the throat or the hollow of the neck?" He said: "If you were to stab it in its thigh, it would suffice you."
