حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنِي يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ كَاسِبٍ ثنا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبِي حَازِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ السَّاعِدِيِّ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ دَخَلَ مَسْجِدِي هَذَا لِيَتَعَلَّمَ خَيْرًا أَوْ لِيُعَلِّمَهُ كَانَ بِمَنْزِلَةِ الْمُجَاهِدِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ وَمَنْ دَخَلَهُ لِغَيْرِ ذَلِكَ مِنْ أَحَادِيثِ النَّاسِ كَانَ بِمَنْزِلَةِ مَنْ يَرَى مَا يُعْجِبُهُ وَهُوَ شَيْءٌ غَيْرُهُ»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever enters this mosque of mine to learn good or to teach it is like a warrior in the path of Allah, and whoever enters it for other than that, such as people’s talk, is like one who sees what pleases him while it belongs to someone else.”
