حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى السَّاجِيُّ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ ثنا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْجُمَحِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيَعْمَلُ بِعَمَلِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ فِيمَا يَبْدُو لِلنَّاسِ وَإِنَّهُ لَمِنْ أَهْلِ النَّارِ وَإِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيَعْمَلُ بِعَمَلِ أَهْلِ النَّارِ فِيمَا يَبْدُو لِلنَّاسِ وَإِنَّهُ لَمِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ»

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said: "A man may perform the deeds of the people of Paradise as they appear to people, yet he is among the people of Hell; and a man may perform the deeds of the people of Hell as they appear to people, yet he is among the people of Paradise."
