حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ رَاهَوَيْهِ وَحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ ثنا أَبُو مُصْعَبٍ قَالَا ثنا عَبْدُ الْمُهَيْمِنِ بْنُ عَبَّاسِ بْنِ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ لَمَّا أَقْبَلَ مِنْ تَبُوكَ وَكَانَ عَلَى الثَّنِيَّةِ قَالَ «اللهُ أَكْبَرُ» فَلَمَّا نَظَرَ إِلَى أُحُدٍ قَالَ «هَذَا جَبَلٌ يُحِبُّنَا وَنُحِبُّهُ» ثُمَّ الْتَفَتَ فَقَالَ «هَلْ تُحِبُّونَ أَنْ أُخْبِرَكُمْ بِدُورِ الْأَنْصَارِ؟» قَالُوا نَعَمْ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ «خَيْرُ دُورِ الْأَنْصَارِ عَبْدُ الْأَشْهَلِ ثُمَّ دَارُ بَلْحَارِثِ بْنِ الْخَزْرَجِ ثُمَّ دَارُ بَنِي النَّجَّارِ ثُمَّ دَارُ بَنِي سَاعِدَةَ» فَقَالَ لَهُ سَعْدٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ جَعَلْتَنَا آخِرَ الْقَبَائِلِ؟ فَقَالَ «إِذَا كُنْتَ مِنَ الْخِيَارِ فَحَسْبُكَ» وَاللَّفْظُ لِحَدِيثِ أَبِي مُصْعَبٍ

✧ That when the Prophet ﷺ was returning from Tabuk and was on the mountain pass, he said, "Allah is Greatest." Then when he looked at Uhud, he said, "This is a mountain that loves us and we love it." Then he turned and said, "Would you like me to tell you about the dwellings of the Ansar?" They said, "Yes, O Messenger of Allah." He said, "The best dwellings of the Ansar are those of Banu 'Abd al-Ashhal, then the dwellings of Banu al-Harith b. al-Khazraj, then the dwellings of Banu al-Najjar, then the dwellings of Banu Sa'idah." Sa'd said to him, "O Messenger of Allah, you have placed us last among the tribes?" He said, "If you are among the best, that is sufficient for you." The wording is that of the hadith of Abu Mus'ab.
