حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثنا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ وَحَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ أَبِي حَسَّانَ الْأَنْمَاطِيُّ ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ قَالَا

ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَمَّارِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ الْقَرَظُ مُؤَذِّنُ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ جَدِّي أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَمَرَ بِلَالًا أَنْ يُدْخِلَ أَصْبُعَيْهِ فِي أُذُنَيْهِ وَقَالَ «إِنَّهُ أَرْفَعُ لِصَوْتِكَ»

✧ Abd al-Rahman b. Ammar b. Sa'd al-Qaraz, the muezzin of the Messenger of God ﷺ, narrated to us: My father narrated to me from my grandfather that the Messenger of God ﷺ commanded Bilal to insert his two fingers into his ears and said, "It makes your voice higher."
