حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا شَبَّابٌ الْعُصْفُرِيُّ ثنا بَكْرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ وَوَهْبِ بْنِ جَرِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ

نَزَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِقُبَاءَ عَلَى كُلْثُومِ بْنِ هَرِمٍ أَخِي بَنِي عَمْرِو بْنِ عَوْفٍ وَيُقَالُ بَلْ نَزَلَ عَلَى سَعْدِ بْنِ خَيْثَمَةَ فَأَقَامَ فِي بَنِي عَمْرِو بْنِ عَوْفٍ يَوْمَ الِاثْنَيْنِ وَالثُّلَاثَاءِ وَالْأَرْبِعَاءِ وَالْخَمِيسِ وَأَسَّسَ مَسْجِدَهُمْ وَخَرَجَ مِنْ بَنِي عَمْرِو بْنِ عَوْفٍ فَأَدْرَكَتْهُ الْجُمُعَةُ فِي بَنِي سَالِمِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ فَصَلَّى الْجُمُعَةَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ الَّذِي بِبَطْنِ الْوَادِي قَالَ ابْنُ إِسْحَاقَ «ثُمَّ نَزَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَى أَبِي أَيُّوبَ وَأَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِبِنَاءِ مَسْجِدِهِ فِي تِلْكَ السَّنَةِ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stayed at Quba' with Kulthum b. Hidm, the brother of Banu 'Amr b. 'Awf; and it is also said that he stayed with Sa'd b. Khaythamah. He stayed among Banu 'Amr b. 'Awf on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and laid the foundation of their mosque. He left Banu 'Amr b. 'Awf and reached Friday among Banu Salim b. 'Awf, so he prayed Jumu'ah in the mosque in the valley floor. Ibn Ishaq said: “Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stayed with Abu Ayyub and commanded the building of his mosque in that year.”
