✧ What Saad bin Muadh narrated from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَسْوَدِ

عَنْ عُرْوَةَ «فِي تَسْمِيَةِ مَنْ شَهِدَ الْعَقَبَةَ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ ثُمَّ مِنْ بَنِي سَاعِدَةَ بْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ الْخَزْرَجِ سَعْدُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ دُلَيْمِ بْنِ حَارِثَةَ بْنِ خُزَيْمَةَ وَهُوَ نَقِيبٌ وَقَدْ شَهِدَ بَدْرًا ؓ»

✧ About Urwa Ibn Mas'ud Al-Thaqafi, he said, "Regarding the naming of those who witnessed the Battle of Al-Aqaba, they were from the Ansar and then from the Banu Sa'idah bin Ka'b bin Al-Khazraj. Sa'd bin 'Ubadah bin Dulaym bin Harithah bin Khuzaymah, who was a captain and also witnessed the Battle of Badr."
