حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ رَمَاحِيٍّ الْجُشَمِيُّ ثنا أَبُو عَمْرٍو زِيَادُ بْنُ طَارِقٍ وَكَانَ قَدْ لَبِثَ عَلَيْهِ عِشْرُونَ وَمِائَةُ سَنَةٍ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ أَبَا جَرْوَلٍ زُهَيْرَ بْنَ صُرَدٍ الْجُشَمِيَّ يَقُولُ لَمَّا أَسَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَوْمَ حُنَيْنٍ يَوْمَ هَوَازِنَ وَذَهَبَ يُفَرِّقُ الشُّبَّانَ وَالسَّبْيَ أَنْشَدْتُهُ هَذَا الشَّعْرَ
Translation

✧ I heard Abu Jarwal Zuhayr b. Surad al-Jushami say: When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ took us captive on the day of Hunayn, the day of Hawazin, and went to distribute the young men and the captives, I recited to him this poetry.
