حَدَّثَنَا إِدْرِيسُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْعَطَّارُ ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ طَلْحَةَ عَنْ عُمَيْرِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ الضَّمْرِيِّ عَنِ الْبَهْزِيِّ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ خَرَجَ يُرِيدُ مَكَّةَ حَتَّى إِذَا كَانَ بِبَعْضِ وَادِي الرَّوْحَاءِ وَجَدَ النَّاسُ حِمَارَ وَحْشٍ عَقِيرًا فَذَكَرُوهُ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ «أقِرُّوهٌ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَ صَاحِبُهُ» فَأَتَى الْبَهْزِيُّ وَكَانَ صَاحِبَهُ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ شَأْنُكُمْ بِهَذَا الْحِمَارِ فَأَمَرَ أَبَا بَكْرٍ أَنْ يَقْسِمَهُ فِي الرِّفَاقِ وَهُمْ مُحْرِمُونَ ثُمَّ مَرَرْنَا حَتَّى إِذَا كُنَّا بِالْأُثَايةِ إِذَا ظَبْيٌ وَاقِفٌ فِي ظِلٍّ فِيهِ سَهْمٌ فَأَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ رَجُلًا أَنْ يَقِفَ عِنْدَهُ حَتَّى يُخْبِرَ عَنْهُ النَّاسَ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out intending Makkah until when he was in part of Wadi al-Rawha, the people found a wounded wild donkey. They mentioned it to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he said: "Leave it until its owner comes." Al-Bahzi, who was its owner, came and said: "O Messenger of Allah, this donkey is yours to deal with." He ordered Abu Bakr to distribute it among the traveling groups, and they were in ihram. Then we passed on until when we were at al-Uthaya, there was a gazelle standing in the shade with an arrow in it. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered a man to stand by it until he informed the people about it.
