حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَبَّانَ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ أَبَا عَمْرَةَ مَوْلَى الْأَنْصَارِ
أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ زَيْدَ بْنَ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيَّ يَقُولُ «كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ بِخَيْبَرَ فَمَاتَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَشْجَعَ فَلَمْ يُصَلِّ عَلَيْهِ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَذَهَبُوا يَنْظُرُونَ فِي مَتَاعِهِ فَوَجَدُوا فِيهِ خَرَزاتٍ مِنْ خَرَزِ يَهُودٍ يُسَاوِي دِرْهَمَيْنِ»

✧ He informed him that he heard Zaid b. Khalid al-Juhani say: "We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ at Khaybar when a man from Ashjaʿ died. The Prophet ﷺ did not pray over him. They went to inspect his belongings and found in them beads from the beads of the Jews worth two dirhams."
