حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ ثنا أُمَيَّةُ بْنُ بِسْطَامٍ ثنا مُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ أَنَا ثَابِتُ بْنُ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ عَنْ أُنَيْسَةَ بِنْتِ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ أَنَّ زَيْدًا دَخَلَ عَلَى الْمُخْتَارِ فَقَالَ

يَا أَبَا عَامِرٍ لَوْ سَبَقْتَ رَأَيْتَ جِبْرِيلَ وَمِيكَائِيلَ قَالَ «حَفَرْتَ وَنَقَرْتَ أَنْتَ أَهْوَنُ عَلَى اللهِ مِنِّي ذَاكَ كَذَّابٌ مُفْتَرٍ عَلَى اللهِ وَعَلَى رَسُولِهِ»

✧ O Abu 'Amir, if you had gone ahead you would have seen Gabriel and Michael. He said: "You have dug and pecked. You are more insignificant to God than I am. That one is a liar, fabricating against God and His Messenger."
