حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الْمَلِيحِ قَالَ
خَرَجْتُ ذَاتَ لَيْلَةٍ مَطِيرَةٍ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ فَلَمَّا رَجَعْتُ اسْتَفْتَحْتُ فَقَالَ لِي أَبِي لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ يَوْمَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ فَأَصَابَنَا سَمَاءٌ لَمْ تَبُلَّ أَسَافِلَ نِعَالِنَا فَإِذَا مُنَادِي رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ «أَنْ صَلُّوا فِي رِحَالِكُمْ»

✧ I went out one rainy night to the mosque. When I returned and sought to open [the door], my father said to me: "I saw ourselves with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the day of Hudaybiyyah, and a rain fell upon us that did not wet the bottoms of our sandals. Then the caller of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Pray in your dwellings.'"
